What you are looking for
We learned this season that one of our bucks strongly favors the company of other bucks and has zero interest in does, so we’re in need of a new one sooner than we had hoped. MUST be a buckling - our favorite herdsire LOVES younger boys and is very gentle & protective with them, but strange adults not so much.
Must have strong pasterns behind him, along with the best possible udder attachment. Big bonus points if he’s A/A Casein!
MUST be polled or disbudded. After our incredibly sweet horned buck caused multiple very dangerous experiences to himself, to us, and to other bucks, we unfortunately learned that we are not set up for horns here.
Ideally not super closely related to Treasured Sunrise Dominique (the sire of 2 of our does).
